Shining a light on Science week in Ms Jennings' class

This year for Science Week we looked at the strand from the science curriculum called light

The curriculum invites us to:

-- explore dark and bright colours and become aware of different shades of colour

-- sort objects into sets according to colour

-- identify and name different colours

We used the book Mix It Up to inspire us to mix colours.

We made links with the SPHE and Art curricula by reading The Colour Monster and creating our own colourful monsters.
